There has been a dramatic change in the attitude of Young Indians. Perhaps our former President Dr Abdul Kalam helped in bringing about a welcome shift through his many interactions with students and youth. We do not complain anymore about the poor roads or lack of infrastructure but are now engaged in building India.
Dreams are getting converted into achievements . Take the case Olympics. We have sportsmen who have performed well and many more are building their aspirations. And you see a lot of students casting their Votes at elections and the realisation that Voting is a duty.
Dr Manmohan Singh has a very determined team of youngsters in his Cabinet. Rahul Gandhi appears to have emerged as a strong leader with many young colleagues. The new initiatives of the Government are welcome especially like the veteran corporate leaders being dragged in to run the country.
This Diwali of 2009 is very special .... Wishing all of you a bright future
